Registered Manager - Mental Health Service

Location: Walsall
Salary: -40,300 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
Contract: Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist mental health residential service in Walsall.

This service provides short-term accommodation and 24-hour support for up to 15 adults with mental health needs, helping individuals build the skills and confidence needed to live independently in the community.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the staff team
  * Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and KLOEs
  * Driving service quality and continuous improvement
  * Managing budgets and service performance
  * Working with local authorities, NHS partners and stakeholders
  * Supporting residents with mental health needs to achieve recovery and independence

You will also participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota and occasional night audits.

About You

• Minimum 2 years'' management experience within a mental health service
  * Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
  * Experience managing residential care services
  * Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  * Health or Social Care qualification Level 4 or above (Level 5 desirable)
  * Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  * Full driving licence or ability to travel
