An excellent opportunity for an Administrative and Procurement Assistant to join a well-established company based in Birtley, Gateshead Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Gateshead, DH3 Salary: 28,000 per annum, depending on experience Reports to: Finance Manager About the Role: The administrative and procurement assistant role is to provide effective administrative and procurement support to the business, ensuring that purchasing activities, project-related orders, supplier requirements, documentation and general office administration are managed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures. Main Duties: Administrative responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and direct enquiries to the appropriate person or department. Scan, organise and archive delivery notes in accordance with company procedures. Regularly monitor outstanding certificates and follow up with relevant parties to ensure required documentation is received and maintained. Complete meter reading submissions accurately and within required deadlines. Manage stationery requirements and place orders to ensure adequate office supplies are maintained. Provide general administrative support to the wider team and assist with other office requirements as necessary.
