If you have engineering manufacturing procurement experience, can negotiate with suppliers and handle their performance, complete commercial analysis, are a confident user of Microsoft Packages, and can bring a positive proactive outlook (personality really will go a long way in this instance!) this could be the opportunity you are looking for! What would the Buyer do? Ensure the specified Purchasing functions meet defined response time, cost, quality and lean targets Manage engineering purchasing, working with multiple suppliers Purchase Order Management for the facility for prototype and production parts Implement designated sourcing strategies for both Category and Product Supply to the facility Supplier Development - Identify performance gaps and develop improvement plans for the gaps What skills and experience will the Buyer need? 3 years demonstrable experience in a similar purchasing role, ideally with an engineering manufacturing organis
