Our client an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established logistics operation based in Leeds. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering great stability, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to develop your skills in a busy, well-organised warehouse.

You''ll be working alongside a small, friendly team to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse operations. Duties will include:

• Loading and unloading domestic and international vehicles safely and efficiently

• Receiving deliveries, checking quantities and condition, completing all relevant paperwork

• Storing goods strategically to maximise warehouse space

• Carrying out stock and inventory checks

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across all warehouse areas

• Operating forklifts (counterbalance and reach) to move, stack, and arrange stock

• Liaising with drivers and subcontractors, providing clear operational and H&S instructions

• Conducting regular safety checks on equipment and facilities

• Supporting site maintenance and occasional fire safety checks

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

• Weekly alternating shifts: 7am-4pm and 9am-6pm (1-hour lunch)

• Overtime available (paid at 1.5x hourly rate)

• Occasional Saturday morning work (paid as overtime)

About You

• Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment

• A valid forklift licence (counterbalance/reach)

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Good computer literacy, ideally with MS Office 365 experience

• The ability to work as part of a team and communicate clearly

• Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• A first aid qualification (preferred, not essential)
