5-Axis CNC MillerOur client is a well-established precision engineering company and are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Miller to join its modern machine shop.A fabulous company who are experiencing growth they offer a flexible , friendly and professional work environment where all employees are valued and included.The role involves setting, operating and optimising CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances across a range of high-performance engineering sectors.Key Responsibilities:Set, operate and optimise CNC milling machines (3, 4 and 5-axis)Read and interpret complex engineering drawingsManufacture precision components to tight tolerancesCarry out in-process inspection using micrometers, verniers and gaugesComplete works order route cards and maintain component traceabilityEdit CNC programs where authorisedSupport job planning and provide technical input where requiredMaintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeepingReport quality or process issues promptlyEssential Requirements:Proven CNC milling experience within a precision engineering environmentStrong drawing interpretation skillsConfident using precision measuring equipmentAble to self-inspect own workQuality-focused with strong attention to detailReliable, punctual and process-drivenDesirable:Experience with 5-axis machiningHeidenhain control knowledgeCAD/CAM experience (e.g. Hypermill)Experience machining a range of engineering materialsHours and Benefits:40-hour w
