Attendance Officer - GravesendPart-time Temp-to-Perm Start ASAPAcademics Ltd are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established school in Gravesend who are looking to appoint an experienced Attendance Officer to join their busy school office team.The RoleAs the Attendance Officer, you will play an important role in monitoring and improving pupil attendance, working closely with pupils, parents, staff and the wider school team.Key responsibilities will include:Monitoring and maintaining accurate pupil attendance records.Following up on pupil absences and contacting parents and carers where required.Recording and updating attendance information on the school''s MIS.Identifying attendance concerns and escalating persistent absence appropriately.Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and the Senior Leadership Team.Supporting the school with attendance interventions and improving attendance rates.Producing attendance reports and maintaining accurate records.Communicating professionally with parents and carers regarding attendance.Supporting general school administration and office duties when required.Maintaining confidentiality and following safeguarding procedures at all times.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience working within a school environment - essential.Previous experience in attendance, school administration or a similar role.Experience using SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or another school MIS.A good understanding of school ..... full job details .....
