We aim to create a home away from home for our guests all year round.Our work environment includes: Food provided Growth opportunities Wellness programmes Company perks On-the-job training Safe work environment Lively atmosphereThe main responsibilities of one of our Sous Chefs will include (but are not limited to): Monitor the quality and presentation of all food served to ensure that it is up to The Pheasant Hotel''s standard Plan and place orders to selected food suppliers on a daily and weekly basis to ensure stock availability Check all fridges to ensure they are stocked with the necessary ingredients in preparation for service and highlight any stock shortages to a senior chef Be able to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure, to willingly undertake any tasks when requested by a senior member of the team Be creative in order to help with suggestions on new menus and dish ideas Train, coach and aid the development of junior chefs within the kitchenAt The Pheasant Hotel we can offer you; Competitive salary Employee assistance programme Staff rates and a discount on all food and beverage products.
