Mechanical Project Engineer - 12-Month Fixed TermPort Talbot Yolk Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of a hands-on Mechanical Project Engineer to lead a 12-month project focused on improving advanced production processes. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving, working with mechanical systems, and delivering tangible improvements, this role is ideal.Key responsibilities:Lead the full project lifecycle, managing scope, milestones, risks, and deliverables.Design, implement, and validate engineering solutions to improve process performance.Specify, install, and commission instrumentation and control systems (flow, pressure, temperature sensors, high-speed data capture, laser/optical diagnostics).Plan and execute process trials, analyse data, and validate performance improvements.Coordinate equipment installation, production trials, and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors.Produce technical reports, including KPIs, CAPEX/OPEX impact, and safety documentation.Provide day-to-day support to Technical and Engineering teams.Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and governance standards.Required Skills and ExperienceProject Engineering or Project Management experience in production or RandD environments.Understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal pro
