While the job title may sound standard and the tasks below run of the mill, this is not your average coordinator role. This is one of the most important roles within the business. You will be front and centre in making life at DMS what we pride ourselves on, from a warm welcome every time someone enters the building to ensuring the office is a professional, open and inclusive environment where people enjoy and thrive in their work. The role is key to making sure our people are happy and looked after; it is core to our culture and business and you will be at the centre of delivering for our people and our clients. The role is a flexible and extensive position and day-to-day tasks include:Reception Duties – covering all required reception dutiesWarmly welcoming important clients in person and over the phoneOrdering of office supplies and distributing deliveries around the buildingBuilding maintenance – coordinating maintenance schedules, visitors, etc. Some basic building maintenance such as changing light bulbsVisitor access – ensuring proper sign-in and sign-out procedures for guests using SwipedOn cross-platformHealth and safety – carrying out assessments and aiding with administrationAssisting with front-of-house events like Friday drinks, lunches and party planningOpening up the building each morning and preparing kitchens/bathrooms for the day aheadClosing down Front of House operations each eveningKeeping the intranet updated and assisting with internal marketing emailsAssisting with onboarding and offboarding paperworkEnsuring offices (including kitchens and toilets) are maintained to a clean and satisfactory levelSupporting the Office Manager and other staff with ad hoc requestsThis full-time role requires availability from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, in our Shand Street office in London Bridge.Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:Good customer service skills and a professional and friendly telephone mannerCompetency in Microsoft Word and ExcelPro-active, forward-thinking and confident in using own initiativeEnjoy helping peopleMotivated and willing to learn and developBasic DIY/handiness skills are a bonusFriendly and enthusiasticSeniority level
