A new role has arisen for a growing business based in the heart of Basingstoke who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly accounts department.
The position will be responsible for a variety of accounts receivable duties as well as month end. Key tasks include;
- Cash payment allocations
- Raising sales invoices
- Credit control
- Staff expenses
- Petty cash
- Credit card payments
- Assisting with accounts payable tasks, such as processing invoices and statement reconciliations
The desired candidate will have previous experience working in a busy finance office, with all round accounting knowledge or the willingness to want to develop their accounting skills. The role requires a hands on individual who enjoys working as part of a team and has good communication skills. Prior knowledge of Sage would be desirable but not essential.
Car parking is available onsite and the company are situated close to public transport links. The company offer a competitive salary and hybrid working.
