Payroll Officer
A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting a Payroll Officer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working and paying 30,000 - 35,000 per annum depending on experience. Your key duties in this Payroll Officer role will include but are not limited to: Running weekly and monthly payroll for multiple clients Processing payroll using BrightPay softwareManaging CIS returns and subcontractor verificationPreparing and posting payroll journals for clientsSubmitting RTI reports to HMRCAdministering auto-enrolment pension schemes and submissionsProcessing starters and leavers, including P45s and P60sHandling SSP, SMP and other statutory paymentsLiaising directly with clients to resolve payroll queries Skills and experience required to be considered for this role:Previous end-to-end payroll experience within an accountancy practice Experience using BrightPay (or similar payroll software)Strong working knowledge of CIS and HMRC processesConfident managing multiple client payrolls simultaneouslyExcellent attention to detail and communication skills If you feel like you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this Payroll Officer position, please apply with your CV and contact Connor at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat.
