Key Responsibilities and Duties:Machining low quantities of precision components - various metals and plasticsProducing components using existing programmes, tooling and fixturesProgramme and engineer, from scratch, new components using primarily online programming processes.Quality inspection and controlWork to engineering drawingsThis is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:Solid mechanical/engineering knowledge, ideally with an engineering apprenticeship, including the reading of engineering drawings and model requirementsExperience in automotive or aerospace environments desirableExperience with large castingsMust be able to set up and operate the machines.Hypermill experience will be an advantage.Demonstrate a good understanding of engineering drawings.What you need to do now if you''re interested in this role:Click ''apply now'' to forward ..... full job details .....
