About youIf you are working in construction Health and Safety and feel ready to take on more responsibility, this could be a really good opportunity for you.You will be joining a growing principal contractor as an Assistant Health and Safety Manager, working alongside an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager who will help you develop your knowledge and confidence.This is a role where you will spend time out on construction sites, working with Site Managers and project teams to make sure health and safety standards are being followed properly.You will initially spend time learning the company''s systems and processes before gradually taking more responsibility for managing health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across your own projects.Ideally, you will be based south of Cannock, as your projects will cover the Midlands, South East, South West and South Wales.The salary is £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, plus car or car allowance and benefits.Your experienceYou will ideally have around 3 to 5 years of experience within the construction industry, including a good grounding in a Health and Safety role.You should hold a NEBOSH National Construction Certificate or be working towards it.
