This is a newly created role due to growth. What You''ll Do: As a Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reports. Your responsibilities will include:Executing high-quality month-end close processes, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliation.Compiling evidence for group and operational controls in preparation for reviews.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Collaborating with the Group Tax Department to prepare annual statutory accounts and tax compliance documentation.Supporting internal and external audit processes by providing necessary information.Assisting with accounts payable and receivable and banking processes as needed.Building strong relationships with colleagues across departments, including operations and sales.Analysing financial performance to identify risks and opportunities. What We''re Looking For: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally handling EMEA operationsProven experience in month-end close processes, VAT returns preparation, and statutory accounts preparation.Familiarity with internal and external auditing processesStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.An eye for detail and a commitment
