Early Years (EYFS) Learning Support Practitioner
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract Type: Fixed Term (until July 2026 in the first instance)
Working Hours: 27.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 3:15pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: H3.5 (-24,790 FTE) + -1,013 fringe allowance (pro rata)
Actual Salary: -16,403 per annum (including fringe)

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford is currently looking for a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Practitioner (LSP) to work with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with a particular emphasis on pastoral care through the Thrive Approach.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day learning and emotional support to pupils in the Early Years
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions based on the Thrive framework
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching staff and support colleagues to address the needs of individual children
What We''re Looking For:
- Previous experience in EYFS or Key Stage 1 is highly beneficial
- Genuine passion for supporting children''s emotional and social development
- Knowledge of-or willingness to train in-the Thrive approach
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
