Maintenance Engineer Aldridge, West Midlands 40,000 to 45,000Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:30 We are working with an established UPVC window and door manufacturer to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support their busy production facility in Aldridge. This is a genuinely hands-on and varied role where you will take ownership of maintaining specialist fabrication machinery alongside the wider site and facilities. You''ll be the person helping to keep production moving, responding to breakdowns when they happen and making sure machinery is properly maintained to minimise downtime. The role would suit a practical, proactive Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities who enjoys working independently and getting stuck into a broad range of engineering and maintenance challenges. The OpportunityYou''ll be joining an established manufacturing environment with a varied workload and plenty of day-to-day responsibility. A major part of the role will involve maintaining and repairing UPVC fabrication machinery, including specialist equipment such as saws, welding and cutting machinery, routing equipment and other production machinery. Experience with Stiga saws, WindMac equipment or similar UPVC fabrication machinery would be particularly advantageous.
