Network Engineer (DV Cleared) - 6 Month Contract We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Network Engineer to join a critical defence/secure project. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of secure network infrastructure within high-assurance environments. Key Details: Location: Bristol (4 days per week on-site)Rate: Competitive on application IR35 Status: Inside IR35Contract Length: 6 monthsStart Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure (Routers, Switches, Firewalls). Implement and optimize Cisco-based LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions. Design secure network architectures in line with MOD/Defence standards. Conduct network upgrades, migrations, and patch management. Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and resilience Operational Duties: Active DV Clearance (mandatory). Hands on experience with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches In-depth knowledge of core protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP.
