Kenneth Brian Associates are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within a busy organisation. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for both the wider financial operation and the management of a member of the finance team. The Role You will play a key role in ensuring the finance function operates efficiently and accurately, with responsibilities including: Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day finance function and supervising a direct report. Coordinating the month-end process and ensuring accounts are completed within agreed deadlines. Producing accurate monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Completing and overseeing balance sheet reconciliations. Reviewing financial performance, investigating variances and providing meaningful analysis. Maintaining appropriate financial controls and assisting with the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors. Monitoring cash flow and supporting effective working capital management. Overseeing monthly accounts receivable activity and ensuring outstanding balances are appropriately managed. Leading the annual budgeting process and preparing regular forecast updates throughout the year. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, financial regulations and legislative changes.
