Job Description: Quantity Surveyor Job titleQuantity SurveyorLocationLoughborough, LeicestershireSalaryUp to £57,500, dependent upon experienceWorking arrangementPredominantly office-based, five days per week, with periodic site visits.Role overview An established structural steel and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its newly established commercial team.The Quantity Surveyor will support the management and commercial delivery of structural steel and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Managers and Project Managers, the successful candidate will help protect project margins, administer contracts and ensure commercial changes are identified and managed appropriately.This is an opportunity to move beyond a purely consultancy-based environment and become directly involved with projects from fabrication through to installation. Products are manufactured on site, giving the commercial team direct visibility of the work they are supporting.Key responsibilities Provide commercial support across structural steel and infrastructure projects.Administer NEC3 and NEC4 contracts correctly and consistently.Review project requirements against the original tender and agreed scope.Identify, assess and manage project changes.Prepare and manage compensation events.Support the management of activity schedules and project programmes.Monitor costs, value, margin and commercial performance.Assist with ..... full job details .....
