SEND Teaching Assistant
About the Role Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Woolton who are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will provide both 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions Support pupils in line with EHCP targets Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation Assist the class teacher with differentiated learning activities Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working with children with SEND (school or care background) A patient, resilient and proactive approach Strong behaviour management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) IND-TA
