TeacherActive is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in the Mansfield, NG17 area.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants more than just day-to-day supply. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them on a long-term basis, giving you the chance to get to know the pupils, build strong relationships and really see the difference your support makes.

The school has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted and has a fantastic Forest School provision, giving pupils plenty of opportunities to learn, explore and develop outside of the traditional classroom environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, no two days will be exactly the same. You’ll be supporting pupils with their learning, helping them stay engaged and encouraging them to become more confident and independent.

You could be working with children individually, supporting small groups, helping the class teacher with activities or getting involved with practical and outdoor Forest School learning.

• Have at least 3 months’ UK Teaching Assistant experience

• Enjoy building positive relationships with children

• Are patient, approachable and enthusiastic

• Are happy getting involved with both classroom and outdoor learning

• Can work well alongside teachers and other support staff

• Want a long-term role where you can become a familiar face to pupils

The role is available ASAP and offers £95–£105 per day, depending on your experience.
