I am currently exclusively working with an impressive company based in the Lancaster area to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a 3 month contract. Due to recent changes within the team the business needs additional with month end activities and management accounts. Duties include:Management of the monthly close process to produce the final Trial Balance each month to facilitate the production of the monthly management accounts in accordance with company requirementsPreparation of full variance analysis for the sales, contribution and overheads compared to budget and prior year, providing explanations and understanding of variances with proposed corrective actions to get back on plan as appropriateProvide insight and analysis of all operational costs across businessSupport the development of performance metrics and cost information for the operations teamsAssist and support the FD to manage the company stock take process ensuring an accurate and timely count with variances understood and resolvedEnsure that balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month end with all reconciling items understood and cleared on a timely basisSkills required for success:Qualified Acco
