Assistant Site Manager - Residential Housebuilding

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a privately owned residential developer on an established housing development in Northamptonshire.

The development consists of two phases, with the first phase comprising 300 units, approximately 100 of which remain to be built. A further 110 units are planned for the second phase, offering a strong pipeline of work.

The successful candidate will be joining an established site team, working alongside a recently appointed Project Manager to assist with the day-to-day management and delivery of the development.

• Assist the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the development.

• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure works progress in line with programme.

• Monitor build quality and ensure works meet company standards and NHBC requirements.

• Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site.

• Carry out site inspections, identify defects and oversee remedial works.

• Assist with managing materials, deliveries and site logistics.

• Support the delivery of plots through to completion and handover.

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.

• Strong understanding of traditional build construction methods.

• Experience working on volume housing developments.

• Good knowledge of NHBC standards and health & safety regulations.

• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

A salary of -55,000 plus package is on offer, depending on experience.
