Please note: This role does not offer visa sponsorship, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

About the Organisation

Quo Vadis Trust is a specialist housing charity supporting people across South-East London who are living with mental health challenges and behaviours that may be difficult to manage.

  • Help clients develop personalised support plans and set achievable goals
  • Encourage engagement with recovery and independent living
  • Assist with housing, welfare, and benefits advice
  • Support clients with daily living tasks and maintaining their accommodation
  • Carry out property checks, health and safety assessments, and room inspections
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging situations professionally
  • Keep accurate records and update client information systems
  • Work with external agencies and healthcare professionals
  • Support clients moving in and out of accommodation

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in mental health, housing, or a support environment
  • Understanding of mental health conditions, substance misuse, and homelessness
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing challenging behaviours in a professional way

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing legislation
  • Experience in social housing or tenancy support

  • A role where your work has a direct and meaningful impact
  • Supportive team environment with opportunities to grow
