The role offers the chance to work at the intersection of business, finance and technology in one of the largest global banks. The candidate will have the privilege of working with a diverse global team supporting the EMEA region. The position is based in London.Your new roleThe job may involve responsibility and involvement in some or all of the following:• Corporate income tax accounting for EMEA jurisdictions and entities;• Corporate income tax compliance for UK entities, including preparation and review of tax returns and related activities with both internal and external stakeholders;• Other obligations such as SAO, RandD tax credit management and ad hoc deliverables;• Advice, support and engagement with other disciplines in Tax and other stakeholders in the bank on corporate tax matters;• Involvement in tax authority engagements and disputes;• Transfer pricing;• Assessment of new business initiatives and corporate reorganisations from a corporate income tax perspective.What you''ll need to succeedRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities• Relevant accounting and / or tax qualification;• UK corporate income tax experience gained in-house or with a professional services firm, preferably within the financial services sector;• An understanding of key risk and governance principles applicable to
