We are currently recruiting for a company in the Burnley area who are looking for a Press Brake Operator. In this role you will operate a variety of manual and automated machinery. The role involves producing high quality metal materials to meet production and quality targets. Duties and responsibilities Experience of setting and using Amada HFT and HFE Press Brakes for production according to specifications provided. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Setting and operating machines to ensure accurate and precise bending and forming of metal components using various materials. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure that they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Using appropriate tools, dies, and fixtures to produce the work. Material Handling including loading and unloading sheet materials into the machine. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure its optimal performance. Work as part of a Team with team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. Identifying and reporting any defects to deviations from specifications. Following all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment Experience required Experienced in operating Amada press brake machines. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools and equipment. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Ability to accurately measure and evaluate the dimensions of metal. components.
