Job Title: Junior Buyer Contract: Full Time, Permanent Location: Leicestershire Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 The Procurement and Supply Chain division at SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a very exciting Junior Buyer opportunity based in South Leicestershire. This opportunity will be joining a well-established, international business, with their UK head office based in Leicestershire. As a Buyer, you will work within a small team of Buying professionals and report directly into the Purchasing Manager. Your daily responsibilities will include: - Uploading product information, parts descriptions and SKU''s on to the internal database. - Handling inbound enquiries, requests or issues raised from customers and suppliers. - Raising and processing high volume purchase orders. - Handling and investigating outstanding/delayed orders with a level of urgency. - Liaising with suppliers to manage service level agreements, quality control and lead times. - Supporting senior buyers with sourcing and onboarding new suppliers and preparing reporting packs ahead of supplier meetings. The successful candidate for the Buyer opportunity will have previous experience working in a similar Buyers role before, or have experience in a Purchasing, Sales Support or Order Processing role and be looking for your next development opportunity.
