A Production Operative opportunity has just become available within a well-established manufacturing business supporting a diverse customer base. Due to continued growth, the company is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a reliable and detail-focused individual. This role would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Whether you''re already working within manufacturing or looking to begin your career in the industry, full training will be provided.

Production Operative responsibilities include:

• Supporting the movement of components throughout the manufacturing and inspection process.
• Carrying out visual checks on manufactured components to identify cosmetic defects and other quality concerns.
• Checking components for missing parts and thread damage.
• Recording production and quality information using Microsoft Excel.
• Following work instructions, quality standards and safe working practices.

Production Operative desirable skills and experience:

• Excellent attention to detail and good visual accuracy.
• Experience within manufacturing, production or assembly would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
• Reliable, methodical and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
