Business Analyst - Data focusedRate: 450- 500 per dayWorking pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week on-siteLocation: Birmingham / RemoteWe are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong data focus to support a major data and transformation programme.KEY EXPERIENCE - Business Analyst with experience in Local or Central Government holding a strong data focus. This role will sit between business stakeholders and technical data teams, taking business requirements and translating them into clear requirements for data products, reporting solutions and data development.You won''t need to be a hands-on Data Engineer, but you will need a strong understanding of data structures, data flows and how data platforms operate, combined with excellent core Business Analysis skills.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with business users to understand their data, reporting and information requirements.Lead requirements gathering through workshops, stakeholder engagement and analysis.Translate business needs into clear requirements for data products and technical delivery teams.Understand and document data flows, data schemas and data structures.Analyse how data moves through different systems, including Master Data Management (MDM) flows.Work closely with the Head of Data and data build teams throughout delivery.Define and document reporting requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.Act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders, translating complex data concepts ..... full job details .....
