Our client is an innovative, industry-leading manufacturer serving the construction, industrial, and rail sectors. They are seeking a Business Development Executive to look after their Rail sector to join their growing team and align with their 5-year growth strategy. You will be responsible for driving growth and revenue to 5 million by 2030 within the UK rail industry through a combination of direct sales, project pursuit, product focus and management of specialist reseller accounts that operate specifically within the rail sector.The role focuses on building strong relationships with rail contractors, infrastructure providers, project and procurement functions and sector-specific resellers. You will own the full sales cycle - from lead generation right through to securing orders.Duties:Direct SalesIdentify, develop, and convert direct sales opportunities across rail main contractors, subcontractors, infrastructure providers and train operating companies.Build relationships with all stakeholders across contractors and routes Lead the full sales cycle including scoping needs, specifying products, preparing quotations, and closing sales.Track major projects, frameworks and tenders to position them early in the buying process.Provide technical guidance and top product knowledge and recommendations aligned to rail safety, storage, and compliance requirements.Reseller Management (Rail-Specific Partners)Manage relationships with approved reseller partners.Support these partners ..... full job details .....
