The Opportunity
CV Technical is working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business based in Coalville to recruit an experienced Stock Control Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role sitting at the heart of the purchasing and stock management function, overseeing a small team and always ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the stock system.

The business is currently undergoing a system restructure, making this an exciting time to join and contribute to a period of positive change. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the implementation of new processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of 2 purchasing assistants, overseeing day-to-day performance and output
* Always maintain accuracy and integrity of the stock system
* Place, progress and acknowledge purchase orders
* Carry out stock reconciliation and purchase invoice reconciliation
* Manage material call off from dock
* Intrastat reporting and progressing of reject material
* Calculate and communicate monthly collection costs

What We''re Looking For
* Proven stock processing experience - essential
* Experience with MRP/ERP systems and purchase order processing
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong data interrogation and analysis ability
* Experience using Management Information Systems and/or Business Intelligence reporting tools
* Accounts or purchase/finance processing background - desirable
* Shipping experience - advantageous
* People management experience with a collaborative, team-player mindset
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Confident dealing with external parties including suppliers and logistics providers
* High attention to detail with the ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload
* Proactive and adaptable - comfortable supporting change and system implementation
