A global pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a Senior Statistical Programmer to join their team on a 12-month temporary contract.

As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will work on real world data to deliver high quality analyses that support evidence-based decisions in drug development and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and validate complex analysis datasets from large and diverse data sourcesPerform statistical analyses and create reports for observational studies using Databricks and SASInterpret and implement analysis plans in close collaboration with epidemiologistsEnsure programming accuracy and compliance by reviewing peer code and outputsIdentify and resolve data issues, ensuring robust, high quality results

Requirements

Strong experience in statistical or observational research programmingStrong SAS and SQL programming skills (knowledge of R or Python is also welcomed)Understanding of statistical and epidemiological methods is desirableExperience handling observational or biomedical research data; knowledge of EHR databases such as CPRD or OMOP Common Data Model is advantageousExcellent attention to detail, communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
