Technical Lead (Asset Management) 6 Month Contract London (Hybrid) Via Umbrella Our UK leading Life insurance client are looking for a Technical Lead to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. Key skills/knowledge required: Deep knowledge of trading workflows, trade lifecycle events, and OMS integration patternsUnderstanding of capital markets data flows, trade settlement, reference data, and portfolio management processesStrong understanding of data modelling, data engineering workflows, and integration with front-office platformsAwareness of regulatory and compliance considerations in capital markets deliveryUnderstanding of modern engineering practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud-native developmentStrong background in asset management or investment banking with hands-on delivery of capital markets solutionsMinimum 3-5 years leading development teams in financial services environmentsExperience with OMS platform integration (any major platform - Aladdin, Murex, Charles River, etc.) and understanding of trade lifecycle data flowsProven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer leading development teams in financial servicesExperience working directly with business and front-office stakeholdersTrack record of designing and delivering high-quality, scalable technical solutionsExperience in SQL, Python, Snowflake, and AWS within data-intensive, cloud-based environments Desirable: Specific experience with Aladdin, Murex, Charles River or other
