Plumber - Water Hygiene / Healthcare Estate - BirminghamPPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to work on a large, critical healthcare estate, supporting water hygiene compliance, tap replacement works and planned/reactive maintenance activities across the site.Pay Rate: 21.05 - 23.39 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 (Day Shift)Role OverviewYou will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, testing, reactive and breakdown works on water systems, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and site procedures.Job Duties will include:Assessment and planningInfection-control complianceSafe isolation of water systemsTap removal and installationTMV checksWater hygiene flushingDocumentation and project handover Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out PPM and reactive plumbing works on domestic hot and cold water systemsUndertake temperature monitoring, showerhead cleaning and disinfection, TMV servicing and buffer vessel blowdownsEnsure all works are completed in line with ACoP L8 and HTM 04-01Maintain accurate records, logbooks and CAFM updates (Maximo or similar)Work primarily within the Acute Hospital, with additional duties across Mental Health and retained estate sitesRespond promptly to emergency and compliance-related issuesWork safely in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and site proceduresUse radios and PDA devices to receive work instructionsWork at height and with
