Job DescriptionTooling Design Engineer (Stress) - SubmarinesFull-TimeDerby (5 days on site)An exciting opportunity for a Tooling Design Engineer role with a strong background in stress in the Product Specific Tooling Team has arisen within the New Build and Components Business, in Nuclear (Submarines).In this role, you will work to provide bespoke tooling and fixturing in support of component manufacture and assembly. In this role you will be interacting with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure the design meets with their requirements not only at concept stage but post manufacture ensuring all requirements have been achieved.The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of British Standards, the Machinery Directive, lifting regulations, and pressure equipment codes, and will be comfortable justifying designs through both hand calculations and FEA.Why join Rolls-Royce?
