Behaviour MentorBexley September 2026 StartFull-Time Long-Term and Permanent Opportunities AvailableAre you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?We are working with a number of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Bexley seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to provide targeted support to students who require additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral guidance.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Behaviour Mentors, Teaching Assistants, Youth Workers, Support Workers, Sports Coaches and graduates looking to gain valuable experience within education.The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will:Provide one-to-one and small group support to students requiring behavioural, emotional or pastoral supportBuild positive and trusting relationships to encourage engagement, attendance and achievementSupport students in developing confidence, resilience and positive behaviour strategiesWork alongside teachers and pastoral teams to implement behaviour support plans and interventionsHelp students overcome barriers to learning and remain focused in lessonsSupport students during lessons, breaktimes and transitions throughout the school dayPromote a safe, positive and inclusive learning environmentMonitor and report on behaviour, wellbeing and progress targetsThe Ideal CandidateWe are looking for individuals who:Have experience working with young people in education, youth work, mentoring, care or support settingsAre ..... full job details .....
