Alexander Steele are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an Engineer to join their site-based engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within food or FMCG manufacturing, with strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced production environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on a range of automated machinery Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with food safety, quality, and health and safety standards Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using the site CMMS Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment Work closely with production teams to support site performance and uptime On Offer: 45,000 annual salary 4 on 4 off (4 day shift, 4 night shift rotating) Pension etc. If this is of interest, please apply with your most up-to-date CV and I will be in touch.
