Wolviston Management Services are delighted to be supporting a leading heavy industrial manufacturing organisation based in Teesside in the appointment of a Heavy Plant Fitter to join their established engineering function. This is a key, hands-on role within the site workshop and plant process areas, reporting directly to the Garage Team Leader. You will play a critical part in maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of a wide range of heavy mobile plant assets, supporting production, operational efficiency and site safety objectives. Working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team, you will deliver a high-quality maintenance and repair service, responding effectively to breakdowns, defects and improvement opportunities across the plant fleet. The Role As Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of a varied range of heavy plant and mobile equipment, ensuring assets remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose. Typical equipment includes heavy plant machinery, slab carriers, CAT-based equipment, skip carriers, forklifts, excavators, skid steers and associated mobile assets.
