Job Title: Contracts Manager Flat Roofing

Location: Wigan

Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + Company Performance Related Bonus

Benefits: Car allowance, standard pension, death in service, 24 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

OverviewContract Manager position promoting a high quality range of flat roofing projects. Manage all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage through to completion. Maintain project cost plans and ensure deadlines are met while coordinating site activity and resources.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the contracts from the tender stage through to completion

Monitor site activity; organise site workers, collate risk assessments and carry out health and safety checks

Organise the delivery of materials needed on site and ensure timely arrival

Keep works moving smoothly and adhere to project deadlines while maintaining cost plans

Liaise with clients and provide reports for the project

Attend pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients

Manage pre-contract planning and liaise with estimators

Maintain good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation

Deal with projects ranging in value from £10k to circa £1.5m

Ideal Qualifications

Must have experience as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within the building envelope market sector

May consider Site Managers coming from Tier 1 Contractors with commercial experience

Excellent communication skills across all levels

Stable career

Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Confident and articulate

Ability to plan and organise deliverables
