This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, machining processes, and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set and operate Hurco CNC milling machines using Winmax control systemsInterpret technical drawings, CAD models, and work instructionsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each jobCarry out machine offsets, tool changes, and adjust speeds and feeds as requiredMonitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracyConduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometers, verniers)Complete production documentation and maintain accurate recordsPerform routine machine maintenance and report faultsWork closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issuesFollow health and safety regulations at all timesMaintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspaceUndertake additional duties as required to meet business needsRequirementsEssential:Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)Experience in a similar CNC milling role within a manufacturing/engineering environmentStrong understanding of e
