Data Architect

to lead the creation and delivery of a multi-year data strategy. This high-impact role involves designing modern data architectures, embedding governance frameworks, and mentoring technical teams — enabling analytics and AI across the organisation.

leading SaaS provider

helping organisations streamline procurement and finance operations. With a strong customer base across public and private sectors, they’re on a mission to modernise their technology landscape and build future-proof solutions that scale.

The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:

Defining and owning the company-wide data strategy .

Designing scalable data architectures (warehouses, lakes, models).

Embedding governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and ensuring compliance.

Introducing and optimising Azure data tools (Fabric, Synapse, Purview, Data Factory).

Supporting

AI and analytics initiatives

through secure, structured data.

Mentoring technical architects and uplifting data capability across teams.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience as a Data Architect, Lead Data Engineer, or similar.

Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, PySpark, and Azure data technologies.

Strong understanding of

data governance frameworks

and compliance.

Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
