As a pivotal member of the Sr. Leadership team, this position will play a crucial role in:Overseeing the EMEA Solutions Engineering team, ensuring its effectiveness and alignment with overall business objectives, including:Direct alignment to the EMEA Sales Leadership at VerkadaEducate customer executives and installers on Verkada products, programs, promotions, pricing and sales campaignsDesign Verkada solutions that range from physical deployment and recommendations to Verkada best practices and Network Security recommendations/bandwidth requirementsResponsible for working closely with product management, assisting in regional localization and and technical product adoptionLeading budgeting and planning conversations with Strategic Finance and Sales Strategy and Operation LeadershipThis position will be directly managing a team of EMEA Solutions Engineers, including both individual contributors and people managers.Ongoing mentoring and development of the SE team which includes recruiting, hiring and coaching new SEsAssist SEs in closing highly complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key partners and the sales teamAct as the additional liaison/advocate between the Solutions Engineering and Sales teams.This position is expected to require traveling 30-50% of the time, including travel to both national and international destinations.Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership success as a technical presales Director (L2) for the last 5+ years within a similar companyExperience with Solutions Engineering rolesExperience working at a cloud and

network infrastructure focused company with hardware / software

exposure required (experience working in the Physical Security industry desired but not required)Demonstrated success in directly leading a high-performing Solutions Engineering team within a sales environmentExperience building and scaling

technical pre-sales teams and eager to spearhead an emerging segmentProven leadership in

international

cross-functional collaboration; experience leading teams covering EMEAExperience working at

high-growth
