You''ll be the go to technical authority on VAT and PSA matters, support international tax filings, transfer pricing, and get involved in some genuinely interesting projects. It''s a role with real scope to grow as the business does.What you''ll be doingOwning UK corporation tax compliance and reporting (using Alphatax) across the group''s UK entitiesManaging UK VAT/indirect tax compliance and acting as the day-to-day technical authority on VAT mattersRunning the PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) process end-to-endSupporting transfer pricing and international tax filings (CbCR, Pillar Two/GloBE)Partnering with Finance, Legal, Operations, HR and Payroll on tax mattersContributing to strategic tax projects, MandA support, and process/automation improvementsWhat we''re looking forQualified accountant and/or tax adviserChartered Accountant (ACA / CA / ACCA) or CTA tax qualificationDemonstrable Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in a similar roleStrong UK corporate tax technical knowledge, with up-to-date understanding of UK legislation and HMRC guidanceUnderstanding of international tax filings in a UK contextIrish tax knowledge and familiarity with Alphatax and Workday desirableA structured, detail-oriented approach with strong stakeholder communication skills Vertage is ..... full job details .....
