Your new companyYou will be working with a leading facilities and infrastructure provider supporting a major, multi-year construction programme within a live secure estate.A Tier 1 main contractor is delivering a substantial new-build development adjacent to the existing prison estate, creating a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to represent the existing operational/FM team throughout the construction programme.Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will work closely with the Tier 1 construction team, acting as the key interface between the major new-build works and the existing operational estate.This is a long-term, construction-focused position where you will follow the project as it develops, monitor progress on site and ensure that new construction and MandE works are properly coordinated with existing buildings, infrastructure and live services.Your responsibilities will include:Monitoring the progress of the major construction programmeWorking closely with the Tier 1 main contractor and project teamAttending construction progress, technical and coordination meetingsCarrying out regular site walkarounds and keeping up to date with upcoming worksCoordinating interfaces between the new-build development and the existing estateProviding technical input around electrical, gas and wider MandE servicesCoordinating planned isolations, shutdowns, connections and alterations to existing servicesIdentifying potential construction or services issues that could impact ..... full job details .....
