Health and Safety AdvisorNelson, Lancashire 36,000 - 38,000Days (Mon-Thurs or Mon-Fri) An established food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to support and promote a positive health and safety culture across its manufacturing site.Working closely with site management and operational teams, you will play an active role in maintaining compliance, improving workplace safety and ensuring health and safety standards are consistently upheld. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation and maintenance of site health and safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.Assist with the development and review of RAMS, safe systems of work and COSHH assessments.Monitor compliance with relevant UK health and safety legislation and industry standards.Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks and guidance to employees across the site.Work closely with production, engineering and management teams to promote safe working practices.Maintain accurate HandS documentation, records and reporting.Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the site''s overall safety culture.Experience and RequirementsPrevious experience in a Health and Safety Advisor or similar HandS role ..... full job details .....
