Role Purpose
We’re looking for a Project Manager - Digital Content to join our team and help make some excellent work. You’ll help deliver brilliant content across digital channels for one of Britain’s most-loved retail brands.
As a Project Manager - Digital Content, you will oversee projects from inception to execution. You will ensure the work is of the highest standard, fulfilling the brief, delivered on time and within budget. To do this, you will work collaboratively both within the content team and across other Dentsu departments, external agencies and with clients. You will also support project finances, resource planning, and capacity management to ensure projects are resourced effectively.
Our team delivers integrated content spanning print, web, app, social, and video, so a love of digital content is a must. You’ll be involved in creating and uploading digital content, with experience of working on CMS platforms and a good understanding of SEO best practice advantageous. You will be a creative thinker who is also well organized, with a natural love of process and documentation, an appetite for new tech, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills.
Life as a Project Manager - Digital Content at Dentsu
From brief to delivery, be the first point of contact for the content team, managing Strategists, Editors, Writers and Content Leads
Work with the Project Director to ensure content is truly integrated across touchpoints and channels, laddering up to strategic KPIs
Liaise with clients and other Dentsu teams to quickly define scope and deliverables
Oversee production of delivery sheets, copy matrices and content calendars across digital channels, ensuring high quality
Manage client requests and rounds of feedback/amends in a timely manner
Help resolve issues that might block delivery and QA work before final supply
Collaborate with other PMs to ensure smooth team scheduling
Assist with project-based documentation (SOWs, cost estimates, timing plans, production schedules) following agency process
Act as team support on projects to keep creatives aligned and action project requests
Skills Required
Experience in a similar role with a track record of delivering similar work in an agency or client environment
Experience managing content and assets on CMS platforms; experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) advantageous
Solid knowledge of digital content formats and SEO best practices
Experience working with technical/development teams on building website pages and new functionality is beneficial
Desire to learn all aspects of content management and creative project management
Strong team player with the ability to liaise with creatives and know what great looks like
Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
Flexible and adaptable
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience using Monday.com (or similar tools) is useful
Self-starter who can work independently
Diplomatic and confident communicator
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is desirable but not required
Eagerness to adopt, learn, and make best use of AI
