Impact Recruitment are looking for a stock controller to support with supervising goods in, stock control, and dispatch of goods from a local engineering company. The role will involve operating a Counterbalance Forklift.

Permanent Opportunity working a Day Shift

You will need access to your own transport as this company are based in a rural location.

Role: Forklift stock controller

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Salary: -13.45 - -14.00 (depending on experience in similar roles)

Location: Northampton NN6

Daily Duties:

• Operating and using a counterbalance forklift
• Loading and unloading lorries and containers
• Moving stock and pallets around the storage area
• General stock control and inventory management
• Labelling and using codes to store items correctly
• Using computers to enter stock levels
• Working in a small team
• General house keeping

Skills and Knowledge required

• Must have a copy of a counterbalance license
• Comfortable with lifting and manual handling
• Organised and good attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn
• Excellent self-motivation
• Good IT skills and literacy
• Excellent Numeracy skills
• Must be able to drive to get to site
