Production Operatives required for the following shifts: Location: Gillingham, KentRotating shifts: Week one - 6am - 2pm, Mon to Thurs, 6am - 1pm Fri Week two - 2pm-10pm Monday-Thurs and 1pm-9pm on Friday £13.41 ph including shift allowanceWeekly pay, PAYE via React Recruitment LtdLong term temporary work available Priority will be given to candidates with experience of assembling parts or having any electronic skills - wiring, soldering, crimping, using hand tools etcThe shifts rotate weekly e.g. one week of early shift then one week of late shift Static shifts are NOT availableThere will be a half day (morning) assessment day Wednesday 25th March, paid at £12.21ph, if successful candidates will then move to rotating shift workProduction Operativejob role includes:Product assembly - small parts - wiring, crimping, solderingMachine Operating (training will be given)Product quality checkingProduct labellingProduct packing This job role will involve standing for long periods on the production line. Production Assembly Operative candidates must be happy to use hand tools and equipment to manufacture small parts (electronic assembly). Selection will be made after attending an induction day where your skills and suitability for training will be assessed, this includes having good dexterity and hand to eye coordination. You will also be asked to undertake an online colour blindness test prior to your cv being submitted / going for the assessment.
