Bid Writer - Construction

Location: Kent

We are working with a well-established construction business based in Kent that is looking to recruit an experienced Bid Writer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in preparing high-quality tender submissions, helping the business secure new projects and continue to grow.

The Role

• Writing, coordinating and producing high-quality bid and tender submissions.
• Preparing clear, compelling responses to PQQs, ITTs and SQs.
• Working closely with commercial, operational and technical teams to gather relevant information for submissions.
• Reviewing tender documentation to identify key requirements, deadlines and evaluation criteria.
• Ensuring all submissions are accurate, compliant and submitted on time.
• Developing case studies, project examples and supporting bid documentation.
• Managing multiple bids simultaneously and keeping track of deadlines.
• Continuously improving bid content and maintaining a library of responses and supporting information.

About You

• Previous experience in a Bid Writer or Bid Coordinator role, ideally within construction.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce professional, persuasive content.
• Experience working on construction tenders, PQQs and ITTs.
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident liaising with different teams to obtain the information required for submissions.
