This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor during an exciting period of expansion. The business is looking for someone who can take ownership of the commercial side of the business, work closely with the Directors and play an important role in its continued growth.

This specialist contractor delivers commercial fit-out, refurbishment and fire protection projects for a range of clients. The business has grown significantly in recent years and has ambitious plans for further expansion, while maintaining a friendly, collaborative environment where everyone works towards a common goal.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the existing leadership team, taking responsibility for valuations, pricing and the commercial management of projects from initial survey through to completion. You will also be involved in site visits and have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of the commercial function as the business continues to develop.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or experienced Estimator with a background in commercial fit-out. Drylining experience would be highly beneficial, although it is not essential for the right candidate. The key requirement is someone who is commercially capable, accountable and comfortable working within a growing business where responsibilities can extend beyond a traditional job description.

The Role:

* Managing the commercial side of live fit-out, refurbishment and fire protection projects
* Taking ownership of valuations, pricing and commercial management from survey through to completion
* Working closely with Directors, project teams and subcontractors
* Supporting the continued development of the commercial function as the business grows

The Person:

* Quantity Surveying or Estimating experience within commercial fit-out
* Drylining experience highly beneficial
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to take ownership of projects
* Honest, accountable and team-focused with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
